I started to think about what would happen when I moved some blocks, in other words, what OTHER blocks would fall down and if they would be able to join together to be removed. As well, there are 3 flashing white blocks. If you click on them you can flip some of the blocks around which could help you if you have none left that are in a row and can thus be removed, so that can help. But use them carefully as once you have used them, you are on your own. Thus I played the game slower but with greater strategy and then my scores went up much more!

Before playing Bomb It, I realized (after I HAD NOT done this!) that you have to familiarize yourself with your tools. Otherwise the game looks impossible. So initially I had no way of getting out of my four walls of confinement (that was how it looked). And the bind will lead the blind as it were. So if one goes in the wrong direction, the others will mindlessly follow him and that could be to their death. So it is up to you to prepare a safe road for them using your special tools. But, here's the catch. Each ant only gets access to 2 tools. You can stop an ant in its track by clicking on STOP; use the STAIR tool to create stairs other ants can use and the VERTICAL DRILLER will drill holes in the ground for ants to escape into. If you think drilling holes in the walls will help, use the SIDE DRILLER and JUMPING will let ants jump over any holes so they don't fall. But if you use that you will probably need the PARACHUTE so they have a safe landing. The TELEPORT icon will transport an ant. If you want to get rid of the ants in a level, you can ruthlessly KILL THEM ALL. But remember: the ants come out faster and faster in each level, so if you don't act fast you will hear the sorry noise of them jumping to their death. So make sure that you focus on what tools you have, use them efficiently so that you can save as many of these helpless ants as possible. Ants World is definitely a fun game to play and a game requiring focus. If you don't save at least 6 ants in the first level, then you're out, so get a move on!

I initially found gaining mouse control of the balloon in Hot Air to be quite a challenge. In the first level you have to get the balloon to blow over from its green launch pad to the red target pad, but while doing so, make sure you avoid the spikes and traps. One skill that I realized I had to develop before getting anywhere was how to easily blow the hot air balloon around the screen. Once you have achieved that, then in my experience, you are definitely on your way to successfully going through all levels in Hot Air.

I had never been much of a racket ball player. In fact, I vividly recall (with great embarrassment) those university days when I decided to take up badminton. Everyone had a hard time with the shuttle cox in the beginning, but even after 6 lessons I still had not managed to hit it!

And I found that the more I concentrated on my moving of the ball around the grid thing, the more successful I was. What I found most difficult was getting the ball to turn a corner. I also found that (after a while of trial and a whole lot of error) that the slower I went, the steadier I became. It was like I was learning to walk again, except I wasn't, I was trying to move a ball around a grid! There are 5 levels (not that I have yet made it past level 1) and you get a minute before your time is up if you do not get anywhere in the first level. So I'm not quite sure what happens after you do progress beyond level 1, since I've not managed to get past it myself! I think Gyroball is a great game for anyone who loves addicting puzzle games and is up for a REAL challenge!

All Out looks innocent (and simple) enough. But that innocent look is its clever and frustrating tool because really All Out is not just an easy puzzle game that, with enough tries, you will solve. With All Out you actually have to be able to really use your brain and understand how things work.

In All Out you are presented with a grid (it looks a bit like a Connect 4 game initially). There are some holes that are black, and others which are lit up. What you have to do is, by clicking your mouse on the lit ones, make as many of them black as possible. But the problem is, once you click on the lit one, another 1 or more nearby can be lit up, thus destroying your work. I have used the "Solve" button when I've gotten really stuck (which is more times than I care to admit) but I pay quite dearly for that so I wouldn't really advise it. First, you feel quite humiliated doing this as a page comes up asking "Will you sell your soul for a solution?" It is not really nice seeing that.

Therefore, what I would advise instead, is that if you do want to win is to think very carefully before clicking on any of the lit buttons; think about how that clicking will affect all the buttons around it and if it is worth your while to click that particular button or if it will ultimately cause you more harm than good.

I had always seen myself as having a pretty good memory and thus being quite good at the old spot the difference game. But when I found Spot the Difference on line, I started questioning that theory. So no, that doesn't do too much for one's confidence! You get 10 points for each correct spot, but 5 points are removed if you get a "Holy Shit" yelled out at you.

I do feel that there is not enough time allocated to find the differences in Spot the Difference, or maybe I am just not as good as I thought I was. But apart from the fact that practice makes perfect, once you have found a few differences, when you go back and try again, hopefully you will remember those differences and click on them quickly, giving you time to find the other differences. I did find that the more I played, the more I wanted to play, determine to beat this game so it is quite a lot of fun and definitely has me biting my nails.
